  • iPhone Apps Might be the Tip of the Social Discovery Iceberg

    In an interesting November article in New Scientist (“iPhone app reveals the emotional downside of daydreams“), a very compelling iPhone app is discussed that seeks to assist experimenters understand the effect of daydreaming on people.

    What this points to in a larger context is the wide range of important connections institutions and companies could engage with their customers, friends and fans. The necessary social dimension is the commitment to finding innovative methods, new social models of beneficial reciprocal interaction for both sides of the equation and a clear new purpose to the conversation.

    CES should be a focus for many small forward-looking companies pushing on these frontiers. If you see anything that addresses change in this arena, let us know.
